Course Summaries

HR Day Live Training with Charles Clark – Charles is Retired Air Force, a former Selective Placement Coordinator, former Veterans Representative, and current senior level HR Director, Government Agency. Charles has taught HR Day curriculum for the CFJST for 12 years !

Why Attend? As part of our 8-part CFJST/CFCC Certification training program, you MUST attend one of the sessions listed below. You will attend 6 live classes with Kathryn and Ten Steps Trainers and 2 live classes with Charles. The HR class will be divided into (2) 90-minute sessions with a 20 min break between the 2 sessions.

What can I expect to learn? The Hiring Authorities and Merit Principles by OPM are critical for understanding the vacancy announcements and the entire hiring process. You will increase your knowledge for coaching veterans and family members. Veterans Preference is the most important hiring program for veterans. Special Hiring Authorities are important for many federal applicants and can make a difference in hiring results.
