I traveled to Misawa Air Base to teach the Military Airman and Family Readiness staff and military spouses and Airmen the Ten Steps to a Federal Job methods! I had a wonderful trip – my first time to Japan! I taught the 3-day Certification class to the staff, as well as an Open Enrollment Stars are Lined Up® class and Ten Steps to a Federal Job®.
BIG LESSONS LEARNED BY MILITARY SPOUSES IN STARS ARE LINED UP FOR MILITARY SPOUSES SESSION
During this workshop, I built a USAJOBS job blocks for military spouses. We were brainstorming the description of a military spouse to add to the resume and to demonstrate knowledge of military services, guidelines and skills that will be useful in Federal positions. We searched for positions such as: Unit Administrator, Administrative Specialist, Mission Support Specialist, Records Management.

KEY ACCOMPLISHMENT (this accomplishment shows event planning, cultural knowledge and child and youth activities skills)
During the summer of 2019, my spouse was TDY to Indonesia and Alaska for 95 percent of the summer. I planned extra activities for the family. I also planning at the same the PCS move to Mountain Home, NB. My planned activities included Hirosaki Naputa Festival, bowling with friends, crafts camps, sleepovers and keeping up with friends and schoolwork. RESULTS: The children were happy, busy and time passed quickly. We were able to accept their dad being gone and concentrate on school, gymnastics sports and ballet, as well as the family events.
