Separating Navy Sailors in Bahrain Get Federal Jobs Help

Customized federal job-search training is being provided this week at the Naval Air Station, Bahrain to 40 sailors who will soon be leaving the US Navy. It is part of a new program offered by the Resume Place that combines editing and targeting of federal resumes for exiting military with training in navigating the government’s complicated USAJobs website. Other sailors will receive similar training and assistance remotely, says Resume Place team leader Kathryn Troutman, a top federal jobs expert. The program is an effort to help sailors leaving the Navy have a smoother transition to civilian life.
