Ryan Coyne has 26 years of experience as a former U.S. Air Force (USAF) Officer, Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) State Rail Director, U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) Defense Contractor, and Air Mobility Command (AMC) / U.S. Air Forces in Europe & Africa (HQ USAFE-AFAFRICA) / George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies (GCMC) Federal Employee spanning the Education (1701), Inventory Management (2010), Inspector General (1801), and Administrative (0301) career series.

Ryan has extensive experience in service academy leadership coaching, program management, logistics operations, stakeholder engagement, interviewing, and technical report writing. He appreciates the importance of humility, trust, and patience when forming relationships with clients as they seek opportunities to serve in the federal government.
Until recently Ryan was an Inspector General (IG) Division Chief on the HQ USAFE-AFAFRICA team. During his IG tenure, he led seven major inspections, arbitrated 2 Commandant Command assessments, interviewed 44 Commanders, conducted 51 Airmen sensing sessions, and a complex senior leader inquiry.

However, due to his wife’s recent permanent change of station (PCS) move, he transitioned from his successful civil service leadership position to follow and support her at their new assignment.
Throughout Ryan’s career, he’s continually strived to align his organization’s structure and culture to produce wins while guiding multiple portfolios in a high paced dynamic environment.

Whether producing “Leaders of Character” while commanding at the U.S. Air Force Academy or evaluating the character of leaders in his recent Inspector General role, Ryan has learned teams flourish when organizations promote a climate of trust supported by calming, collaborative, integrity driven leadership.
Ryan specializes in helping transitioning Veterans, Military Spouses, and Federal Employees seeking advancement.
